Our Mission

Our message and mission are simple:

“To let you know that God is reconciled to you and that He wants you to be reconciled to Him”

We seek to do this in 3 ways:

To know God our Father and His love

“God is Love” 1 John 4:16

To Become Like Jesus Christ, His Son

“For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters”

Romans 8:29

To Invite Others to be Part of His Family

“For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation”

Vision

The word “Re” is multi-layered in meaning:

Again (redo)
Anew (renew)
Afresh (refresh)
A going back to (restore)
A return to a previous or original state (restore)

We believe that God wants to bring about a recovery and restoration of His original purpose in creating you and me. And this is the heartbeat of our vision and mission:

We believe that as we rediscover God's original purpose for our lives through Jesus Christ, it will lead to a revival that will have a lasting impact on our world. We invite you to join us and be part of the movement!

we Believe

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.

We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

Safe Guarding

We take safeguarding seriously and have a dedicated safeguarding team.

We are committed to developing a culture in which people of all ages find a place to belong, grow and flourish as they explore of their faith.

Our desire at Re Church is to provide a safe environment in which children and adults with additional care and support needs can develop

intellectually and spiritually.

We are registered with thirtyoneeight.org. a national independent charity offering a complete safe guarding service to churches.
